    Our Vision

Canada boasts a vibrant community of comic creators whose works span various genres and styles. Our goal is to provide a platform that amplifies these voices, ensuring that Canadian stories reach a broader audience. By focusing on homegrown talent, we aim to foster a deeper appreciation for the unique perspectives and artistic expressions found within our borders.

Canadian Comic Book Series: The Night Spike

One of the standout titles in our collection is “The Night Spike,” an enthralling series published by Studiocomix Press. Created by award-winning Canadian comic book creator and illustrator Alfonso Espinos, “The Night Spike” follows the adventures of its titular hero through a world filled with intrigue and danger. Espinos, the founder of Studiocomix Press, has been instrumental in nurturing independent comic talent in Canada, supporting a team of emerging graphic artists and comic enthusiasts. His dedication to the craft is evident in the compelling narratives and dynamic illustrations that define “The Night Spike” series.

    Canadian Manga: Bite Mark

Expanding our repertoire to include manga, we are excited to feature “Bitemark,” a gripping series that reimagines werewolf lore. Set in an East Coast city plagued by a mysterious beast for nearly a decade, the story centers on Miki, a timid office worker who, alongside her best friend Ana, embarks on a transformative journey. Drawing inspiration from classic horror tales like “An American Werewolf in London” and “Ginger Snaps,” “Bitemark” explores themes of identity, revenge, and the primal instincts lurking within us all. The creative team, comprising writer Michael Stinson and artist Devan Muse, brings this dark narrative to life with vivid artistry and storytelling.

    Canadian Graphic Novels: Hungry Ghosts

In the realm of graphic novels, “Hungry Ghosts” stands out as a profound exploration of redemption and human desire. Set in 15th-century Japan, the narrative follows a samurai-turned-priest wandering through a post-war, famine-stricken landscape. As he confronts the suffering wrought by human desires, the story delves into themes of spirituality, morality, and the quest for salvation. Published by Lucha Comics, “Hungry Ghosts” exemplifies the publisher’s commitment to bringing unique, independent stories to the forefront. Founded in London, Ontario, Lucha Comics has been a stalwart supporter of diverse narratives, offering readers stories they won’t find elsewhere.

    Our Commitment to Canadian Creators

Beyond distributing these remarkable titles, we are dedicated to supporting Canadian creators by providing them with a platform to showcase their work. We believe in the importance of nurturing local talent and offering opportunities for artists and writers to reach new audiences. Through partnerships with publishers like Studiocomix Press and Lucha Comics, we aim to create a thriving ecosystem for Canadian comics, ensuring that our stories resonate both domestically and internationally.
